Sourcing Requirements
OEM PCB for Acoustics Imager We are designing a plastics spherical ball about 2" thickness which will contain the sonar/acoustics imager OEM PCB, free floating in a metal pipeline, carrying flowing hydrocarbon fluids. Need to detect leaks, cracks, corrosion, dents, deformities, HIC (Hydrogen Induced Cracking), Stress corrosion cracking, material defects, other defects via this plastics ball from inside the metal Pipeline. Account for ball's random location free-floating inside PL that will have bends, inclines, declines, flanges, valves etc; Need Sonar/acoustics sensor make/models with other components; How many sensors to deploy to cover 360 deg?; Withstand 2500 PSI pressure.
