Sourcing Requirements
Quotation and product brochure are requested for a universal testing machine. The equipment will be used for tensile, compression and optional bending tests on soft- and hard-tissue simulants, biological tissues, hydrogels and polymer composites. It must include automatically identified, quick-change calibrated load cells of 500 N, 5 kN, 7 kN and 10 kN, supporting tension and compression, overload protection and automatic calibration recognition. Accuracy should be at least ±0.5% of reading, preferably down to 1/1000 of load-cell capacity. Crosshead speed: minimum 0.01 mm/min and maximum at least 1,000 mm/min. Include anti-slip soft-tissue tensile grips, flat specimen grips and self-aligning compression platens, with optional three- or four-point bending fixtures. Required safety and usability features include collision protection, emergency stop, automatic positioning and quick load-cell/fixture changes. Control should be available from both a computer and the machine, with data-analysis software supplied free of charge.
